Connect Architecture is an intentionally small, hands-on practice dedicated to design and delivery of private homes. We are involved at every stage of a project, from the first sketches through construction and completion, ensuring each home is realised with care and precision. We enjoy working with existing buildings - refurbishing, remodelling, and extending to collaborate with an existing structure and context in creating homes that are responsive to the needs and desires of our clients. Each design is bespoke: responsive to its setting, attentive to light, material and detail, and rooted in the individuality of the client. Privacy is essential for many of our clients, and it is always respected.
We have over 12 years of experience making beautiful and comfortable homes. This includes working with listed buildings and in conservation areas. Alongside our core team, we work with an extended network of trusted collaborators - builders, engineers, heritage consultants, interior designers.
Connect Architecture was established in 2014 by Matthew Wardell BA(Hons) DipArch. Matthew is a chartered member of RIBA.
